The Pokémon Go Avatar isn't a pre-existing character from the core Pokémon game series or anime. Instead, the Avatar is a customizable representation of the player within the Pokémon Go mobile game.

Players create and personalize their Avatar at the beginning of the game. Options include selecting gender, skin tone, hair style, eye color, and clothing. These choices allow players to craft a unique visual identity that reflects their personal style within the augmented reality world. As players progress, they unlock or purchase new clothing items and accessories to further customize their Avatar.

The Avatar serves as the player's presence on the game map, visible to other players and interacting with the environment. It represents the player during gym battles and raids, adding a personal touch to the communal experience.
